Frequently Asked Questions

About the Work
What is energy healing, in simple terms?
Energy healing is a gentle, non-invasive approach that works with the body’s energy systems to support balance and well-being. Rather than focusing only on symptoms, it looks at underlying patterns that may be contributing to physical, emotional, or behavioral stress. The goal is to support the system’s natural ability to return to ease, clarity, and resilience.
People and animals carry beliefs and emotional responses from life experiences, that are held in the subconscious, outside of conscious awareness. These may be influenced by prenatal experiences, early environment, inherited patterns, or other formative events. When experiences are not fully processed, they can manifest as stress within the bodyaffecting tissues, organs, and overall well-being. Over time, this stored stress may contribute to physical tension, emotional reactivity, or patterns of imbalance.
What does energy healing work with?
Energy healing works with the body’s energy systems and the patterns that shape how stress, emotion, and physical tension are experienced. Sessions follow what the body presents in the moment, allowing things to settle and shift at the system’s own pace.
In addition to physical symptoms, people often notice recurring emotional or behavioral patterns, such as difficulty managing stress, feeling stuck, or repeating challenging relationship dynamics. These patterns are treated as signals that help guide the work, rather than problems to fix or outcomes to pursue.
Do I need to believe in this for it to work?
No. You don’t need to believe in energy healing, understand how it works, or hold any particular spiritual viewpoint. This work does not depend on your belief, effort, or concentration. Many people come in curious, neutral, or even skeptical and still find the sessions supportive and meaningful..
How does energy healing differ from conventional medicine?
Energy healing works with the body’s subtle energy systems and takes a whole-person approach, addressing physical, emotional, and energetic factors that may contribute to imbalance. Rather than focusing only on symptoms, it supports underlying patterns and overall balance.
Conventional medicine (also known as allopathic or Western medicine) focuses on diagnosing and treating specific physical conditions using tools such as pharmaceuticals, surgery, and other physical interventions, and is especially effective in acute or emergency situations. This work is intended to complement, not replace, medical, psychological, or veterinary care.
How is this different from Reiki?
Reiki is a lineage based practice that works through attunements. The practitioner channels a healing current that flows through them to the client.
The work I do is not lineage based. It responds to the body’s own intelligence and works with energetic patterns the system is ready to release or reorganize.

Sessions & Experience
What happens during a session?
A session begins with a brief check-in, where we clarify your goals or concerns. We then take a quiet moment to settle and focus, allowing the work to proceed in a clear, neutral way.
I use a form of muscle testing (also called applied kinesiology) by proxy to access information from the subconscious and identify energetic imbalances that may be contributing to patterns in the system. The body isn’t asking for a diagnosis during this work — it’s communicating where stress or overload has been stored and what it’s ready to release.
You do not need to relive past experiences or re-experience emotions for this work to be effective. You’re not required to share detailed personal stories unless you wish to, and you are welcome to share as much or as little as you like.
Once an imbalance is identified, the system is guided toward release and rebalancing. The process is non-invasive and does not involve physical touch.
You can simply relax during the session. Some people notice sensations, emotions, or insights, while others feel very little in the moment. All responses are normal.
How do I prepare for a session?
No special preparation is required. Sessions are designed to work with your system as it is.
On the day of your session, it can be helpful to be well-hydrated and to choose a quiet, comfortable space where you won’t be interrupted. Wearing comfortable clothing and allowing a little time before and after the session can support a more relaxed experience, though this is not essential.
Alcohol or recreational substances can reduce the system’s ability to respond fully to the work, so it’s best to avoid them on the day of your session.
I recommend coming with a few intentions for the session — areas you’d like support with or questions you’re curious about. Because everything in the system is interconnected, your system will guide how the session unfolds and what is addressed at that time.
How does remote energy healing work?
Remote energy healing sessions are conducted without you being physically present. The work is guided by your system’s subconscious intelligence, which is not limited by distance or location, and does not require proximity, video, or phone connection.
Many clients report a more comprehensive experience of the process when they are present with me on a video call, though this is not required. Clients do not need to be on camera, and they do not need to be on a call at all. Sessions can be done even if the client is unavailable, including situations such as being in a hospital.

During & After the Session
How might I feel during and after a session?
Experiences vary from person to person. During a session, some people notice physical sensations such as warmth or tingling, while others feel very little in the moment. Sessions are often experienced as deeply relaxing.
It’s also common to notice a general settling of the nervous system — a sense of calm, ease, or quiet — as the session unfolds. There is no “right” way to experience a session, and meaningful change does not depend on noticing specific sensations.
After a session, people often report feeling lighter, calmer, more settled, or more clear. Sometimes they feel tired. Changes may be subtle or noticeable right away, or they may continue to unfold gradually over time as the system integrates the work.
Are there any side effects or reactions I should be aware of?
Most people experience sessions as gentle and supportive. As with any integrative or mind-body work, some people notice a short period of adjustment afterward as the system processes and integrates the energetic shifts.
This adjustment often unfolds in two phases:
Processing typically occurs in the first few days after a session. During this time, some people may feel more tired than usual or notice temporary emotional shifts, such as increased sensitivity, changes in mood, vivid dreams, or disrupted sleep. Less commonly, mild physical sensations such as a headache or nausea may occur. Staying well-hydrated and allowing extra rest is important during this time to support the system’s adjustment.
The integration phase follows directly afterward. This is when physical changes often begin to occur. These shifts can last anywhere from a few days to many months, depending on the individual and the focus of the session.
Not everyone notices these effects. Only a small percentage of clients experience discomfort, and when it does occur, it is usually temporary and self-resolving. Animals may simply rest more than usual for a day following a session.
What happens after a session, or how do I know what to do next?
In addition to the session itself, I provide a brief integration summary that reflects what shifted at the system level and what may now be more accessible in daily life. This goes beyond technique-based notes and focuses on readiness, regulation, and timing. When appropriate, I may suggest supportive resources or modalities that align with the system’s current capacity, not as directives, but as orientation. These reflections are intended to help clients understand what has changed, what no longer needs to be forced, and which next steps are likely to be workable now, when they may not have been before.

Results & Timing
How many sessions are typically needed to see results?
The number of sessions needed varies widely from person to person. Some people notice meaningful shifts after a single session, while others experience change more gradually. In some cases, even long-standing patterns can shift quickly; in others, deeper or more complex issues may unfold over time.
Because of this variability, I typically recommend starting with an initial series of 3–5 sessions. This allows enough time for the system to reveal meaningful patterns and for change to integrate naturally, rather than evaluating the work based on a single session.
Some people choose to continue with additional sessions for deeper work or ongoing support, while others return periodically as new concerns arise.
Stress patterns are not static. They can change over time based on life circumstances, emotional load, or physical stress. Regular clearing helps reduce the cumulative impact on the system, making balance easier to restore and maintain as the body continues to adapt.
Does everyone respond the same way to this work?
No. Each person’s system is unique, and responses to this work can vary widely. Some people notice clear shifts quickly, while others experience change more gradually or in subtler ways.
In some cases, symptoms that resolved previously may resurface briefly as deeper layers are addressed. Healing can unfold in stages — much like peeling layers of an onion — allowing older patterns to complete and integrate rather than simply being bypassed.
What kinds of changes do people commonly notice?
People often describe a greater sense of ease or balance after sessions, such as feeling calmer, more settled, or more connected to themselves.
Some people notice shifts in physical symptoms during or shortly after a session, while others experience changes related to stress, pain or anxiety. In certain cases, symptoms may change or shift as deeper layers are addressed.
Occasionally, sensations or symptoms may become more noticeable during a session. This often reflects the system feeling safe enough to bring awareness to an area of stored stress or overload. This does not mean damage is occurring. Rather, it can be part of the body’s natural process of signaling readiness for release and rebalancing.

Boundaries & Fit
I offer this work in limited windows, based on my capacity to be fully present with it at any given time. There is no advantage to deciding quickly. This work tends to be most supportive when it is chosen from a quiet sense of readiness rather than urgency or effort. If you find yourself trying to reason your way into it, that can be a sign the timing may not be right yet. You are welcome to reach out if you have a simple question or want to check whether this work is a fit for you.
Do you guarantee results?
I don’t promise specific outcomes. Healing lives within your system, not in my control. My role is to support the conditions where meaningful change can unfold when people engage consistently.
Some people notice meaningful shifts after one session. Others find deeper changes unfold over a series of sessions. This work is not a quick fix, but an integrative process that often leads to greater ease, clarity, and resilience over time.
This work does not involve diagnosis or treatment and does not replace medical or other professional care.
Who might this not be a good fit for?
This work may not be a good fit for individuals who are seeking guaranteed outcomes, a quick fix, or a replacement for medical, psychological, or veterinary care.
In most cases, this work does not require reliving traumatic events or re-experiencing difficult emotions in order for change to occur. However, there are times when greater conscious awareness is helpful for integration. When this arises, it becomes clear during the process and is approached gently and supportively.
This work is best suited for those who are open to a collaborative, integrative process and willing to engage with change as it unfolds over time. It is intended to complement — not replace — appropriate professional care, especially when physical symptoms are involved.
Is this appropriate for young children or for pregnant women?
Yes. Sessions are gentle and non-invasive, and this work is commonly used to support children and pregnant women. The process is always guided by the individual system and proceeds at a pace that is appropriate and supportive.
For children, sessions are conducted remotely and do not require the child to be present. Written permission from the child’s legal guardian is required prior to the session. In cases where grandparents or other caregivers are involved, permission must still come from a parent or legal guardian.
Older children and teenagers may choose to participate directly in the session if they wish, though this is not required.
For children, the work often focuses on easing stress or emotional patterns without requiring verbal processing or reliving experiences.
During pregnancy, sessions are approached in the same way as at other times, guided by the client’s subconscious. This work is intended to complement – not replace – prenatal or other professional health care.

Consent & Ethical Practice
Can I schedule a session for someone else?
This work respects each person’s individual sovereignty. Everyone has their own inner world and energetic field, so I work directly only with people who have given their permission to participate.
If someone is unable to give consent due to medical reasons (such as being unconscious or in a coma), a session may be scheduled by the person who holds legal decision-making authority, such as a healthcare proxy or power of attorney.
If you’re concerned about a child, partner, family member, or pet and they aren’t present or able to participate, you’re always welcome to book a session for yourself. Supporting your own clarity, steadiness, and emotional balance often creates positive movement in the situation, while fully honoring everyone’s boundaries.
Will you work with my child, partner, or family member if they aren’t present?
Yes, with appropriate consent.
For adults:
Remote sessions are completely effective. The person receiving the work simply needs to say yes to it. They do not need to attend live, and they do not need to speak English.
I’ve even supported clients whose family members spoke other languages. The work is not language-based because it connects with the subconscious and the nervous system directly.
For minors
A parent or legal guardian must be the one requesting the session.
The child does not need to be physically present. If a grandparent or relative reaches out, I can support them, but I only work directly with the child when the guardian is the one who has asked for the session.
If permission is not available
I do not step into someone else’s personal field without their agreement.
What I can do is support you by helping your system settle, regulate, and navigate the situation with more clarity and steadiness. Shifts often follow from there without crossing anyone’s boundaries.

Working with Animals
How does energy healing work with animals?
Animals tend to respond naturally to this work because they do not analyze or question the process. Sessions focus on identifying and releasing energetic patterns that may influence an animal’s comfort, behavior, responsiveness, or overall well-being.
The work follows what the animal’s system is ready to address. They do not need to understand or consciously participate. Many people notice changes in behavior, relaxation, or comfort following sessions, though each animal responds in their own way.
How are animal sessions scheduled?
Animal sessions begin with a brief intake conversation, scheduled in advance, to connect, establish a baseline, and understand what you are noticing with your animal.
This short call clarifies the focus for the session and answers any initial questions.
For identification purposes, I typically work with the animal’s name and basic information.
Some people choose to share a photo, though it is not required.
All animal sessions are done remotely. Your animal does not need to be present, on video, or consciously participating.
How does the animal session itself work?
The energy work is completed remotely at a separate time, typically within the following few days, allowing for quiet focus with minimal disruption to your animal’s routine.
After the session, you will receive a written report summarizing what was addressed and any helpful observations to watch for as your animal integrates the work.
If you’d like to review the report or share updates, you can email me or use the post-session consultation link to schedule a brief follow-up (included with this service).
How do animals respond during or after a session?
Responses vary depending on the animal and the focus of the session. Some animals appear more relaxed, sleep more than usual for a day or so, or show subtle behavioral shifts. Others may demonstrate changes in mood, responsiveness, or comfort levels.
As with people, animals process and integrate energetic shifts in their own timing. Changes may be noticed immediately or gradually over the days following a session.
Is this work safe for all animals, including older animals or those with health conditions?
Yes. Energy healing is non-invasive and does not involve physical manipulation. It is generally considered gentle and supportive, including for older animals or those with existing health concerns.
This work is intended to complement, not replace, veterinary care. Animals should continue to receive appropriate medical attention for any illness or condition.

More about the Methods
These methods are not used in isolation. Sessions are scheduled around a primary focus, such as a Heart-Wall clearing series or a Facilitating Your Healing session. Elements of the Emotion Code™, Body Code™, Belief Code™, Transformational Energetics, Awakening Dynamics, and intuitive energetic guidance may then be used as needed, allowing the work to follow what the system is ready to address rather than restricting the session to a single technique.
What is the Emotion Code?
The Emotion Code is a gentle method for identifying and releasing emotional energy that may remain in the body’s energy system when emotions have not been fully processed or expressed. Using applied kinesiology, the system helps identify these imbalances so they can be released.
As these energetic patterns are released, people may notice shifts in emotional ease, physical comfort, or overall well-being. The process is non-invasive and does not require reliving past experiences, traumatic events, or negative emotions.
What is a Heart-Wall?
A Heart-Wall refers to layers of emotional protection that can form when experiences feel overwhelming and emotions cannot be fully processed in the moment. The system holds these layers of trapped emotions as a way of protecting one’s inner essence.
These layers are understood as energetic patterns rather than something physical. While they served an important protective role at the time they formed, they often remain long after the “storm” has passed. Over time, this can dull the experience of emotions such as love, joy, connection, or emotional depth — the felt “flavors” of life.
People usually explore Heart-Wall work when they sense they should feel more open or fulfilled, yet don’t. This may show up as difficulty connecting emotionally, feeling disconnected from purpose, repeated unsatisfying relationship patterns, or a general sense of being held back without a clear reason.
Heart-Wall sessions focus on identifying and releasing these protective layers. The work follows what the system is ready to address, allowing releases to unfold gradually and without reliving past experiences.
How long does it take to release a Heart-Wall?
In my experience, Heart-Wall work usually requires at least three sessions, and can require 2-3 times that. Many people begin to notice positive shifts in how they feel, relate, or experience life within the first session or two, while those who have experienced more significant or long-standing emotional stress typically require additional sessions.
In some cases, more than one Heart-Wall may be present. These layers are not always apparent at the beginning and may only become accessible after earlier layers have been released. The work unfolds in stages and follows what the system is ready to address at the time.
As with other trapped emotions that are released, the emotions making up a Heart-Wall do not return once they have been cleared. However, a new Heart-Wall can form in response to significant emotional challenges in life. For this reason, some people choose to check periodically — often annually — to see whether a new Heart-Wall is present.
As a result of this work, people have reported a range of experiences, including relief from aches or pains, a greater sense of peace, expanded opportunities, and an increased capacity to give and receive love. As with all energy work, individual experiences vary.
What is the Body Code?
The Body Code builds on the Emotion Code by expanding the range of imbalances that can be identified, released, and rebalanced. Its focus is on restoring balance within the body’s energy systems so the body’s innate self-healing abilities can function more effectively.
The Body Code uses a structured methodology to engage the subconscious mind and identify underlying imbalances that may be contributing to stress or dysfunction. These may include emotional patterns, imbalances within organs or body systems, nutritional or lifestyle factors, structural stress, toxicity, pathogens, or disruptions in the body’s energy systems such as chakras, acupuncture meridians, or other energetic pathways.
When these imbalances are released, people may notice shifts in physical comfort, energy, or overall well-being. The process is non-invasive and is always guided by the priorities of the client’s subconscious.
What is the Belief Code?
The Belief Code builds on the Emotion Code and the Body Code by working with subconscious belief patterns that influence thoughts, emotions, behavior, and lived experience. These beliefs often form early in life or during meaningful experiences and may continue to operate outside of conscious awareness, even when they are no longer supportive.
Using applied kinesiology, the Belief Code allows access to beliefs that may be limiting, conflicting, or incongruent with a person’s current goals or well-being. Because beliefs are often held in place by emotional and systemic energy imbalances, this work naturally incorporates elements of the Emotion Code and Body Code as needed.
This process does not involve analyzing belief systems or revisiting past events. Instead, it follows what the subconscious presents to address, allowing shifts in perspective, choice, and internal patterns to unfold gradually over time.
What is Transformational Energetics?
Transformational Energetics focuses on identifying and shifting subconscious beliefs that influence thoughts, emotions, and behavior. These beliefs filter conscious awareness and shape how we experience thoughts, emotions, and behavior, even when they may no longer be supportive. The work is often most effective when clients can actively participate and self-muscle test, though proxy testing can also be used when needed.
Using applied kinesiology, underlying beliefs can be accessed and gently shifted through a focused energetic connection between practitioner and client. This work does not require belief, effort, or concentration on the part of the client, and it does not involve reliving past experiences. Transformational Energetics evolved from Awakening Dynamics and incorporates counseling techniques and elements of the Emotion and Body Codes.
What is Zero-Ishiki (0-Ishiki) Healing approach?
Zero-Ishiki is a field-based approach that works by connecting with the underlying intelligence that organizes living systems. The practitioner intentionally connects with the field, identifies what is ready to be addressed, and allows the system to reorganize without force or personal agenda. The work supports a return toward balance, clarity, and coherence at the level the system is ready to change.
Is Zero-Ishiki a type of session you provide?
Not currently. I routinely access the Zero-Ishiki field before each session to clear the space and our fields, creating a neutral, coherent foundation.
